Annapolis Courthouse Elopement

If you’re planning a fall wedding, an Annapolis wedding or just want to see some downright gorgeous style inspo, this gorgeous fall elopement is for you!! We started out at the beautiful historic courthouse in downtown Annapolis, Maryland where they wed in front of friends and family. Jarrett wiped Alison’s tears as she shakily read her vows and then they exchanged rings and neither could stop smiling. It was really special to be amongst a small group for such an intimate occasion and the significance was not lost on me. It was truly special.

After their ceremony, we meandered through downtown Annapolis near the Maryland State Building and enjoyed backdrops of some of the most beautiful fall foliage I’ve seen! A few of these colors do not look real but trust me, they are!! We photographed our way around the area- down cobblestone streets with steam pouring out of them and through brick alleys where I made them stop and kiss. It was a pretty romantic evening made all the more special by a surprise cake and bottle of champagne. We enjoyed a toast and a delicious slice of cake at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel before I hugged them goodbye and raced home to edit this amazing and special session.

The best part about my job is people like Alison and Jarrett. We first met up in a Gordon Biersch with their friends and some drinks and the beginning of ideas. It’s an incredible honor to be part of my couple’s lives on their wedding day, no matter how they celebrate! If you’re considering an elopement, I hope this peek into their day shows you just how special and unforgettable it can be!
