Hi! I'm Jessica, a kickass wedding photographer with a burning love for fun, color and cake.
I love genuine people, fun weddings and ALL the wedding cake! I live and breathe weddings and believe that every single one should be a unique and awesome celebration of you two. Being a wedding photographer is a dream job and it never gets old! I've been lucky to have met and photographed many inspiring couples - they are kind, hilarious and inspiring people who are as passionate as I am about supporting all love and equal rights.
My approach to wedding photography is all about you having an amazing time and me giving you the kind of photos you'll want to revisit for decades. I am after real moments with laughter, tears, hugs and smiles. I'm a firm believer that candid photos can best bring back all the feelings of your wedding day!
When I'm not at a wedding, I'm editing at home and drinking my second iced latte, playing video games with my boys, binge watching British TV and rapping my way through the 2000's. I live life in bold colors, bright dresses and oversized sunglasses (preferably with a bloody mary in one hand and camera in the other). If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be biscuits and gravy.
In 2005, I met my husband in Austin, Texas. He was shopping for a gift and I tried to woo him with salsa music. He bought a magnetic car light, I dropped his credit card three times, there was definitely chemistry.
In 2011 on our 6th anniversary, my husband and I married in the hill country of Austin TX. We moved to Maryland and I fell in love with the east coast! We have an incredible 5 year old son who will be the world's greatest caterpillar scientist one day.
I'd love to get to know you, learn about your passions and hear your (love) story. Let's grab a coffee and hang out for a couple hours!
My work has been featured on the Huffington Post, Essence Magazine, Offbeat Bride, David's Bridal, Bethesda Magazine, Charm City Wed, The Wedding Hub, Capitol Romance and others. My amazing couples say more about me than I could ever say myself! Read on below to learn more!
